Our Story
2003 - 2006
Their story begins in 3rd grade at Dr. N.H. Jones Elementary School…
They were besties through 5th grade. They went to each others birthday parties, had weekend sleep overs, and played youth soccer together.
2007
They went to the same middle school for 6th grade but then Kailey transferred schools and they lost touch.
15 years later…
They went to two different high schools and then ended up going to the same university, got the same degree, but STILL didn’t cross paths with each other.
2019
After college, Taci made a few attempts to reach back out over Instagram…
Kailey politely responded but essentially blew her off.
2020
Covid times…Taci lived at home with her parents and Kailey returned to their hometown to quarantine with her family after being laid off. They reconnected on a dating app, re-met for the first time in a Walmart parking lot and the rest is history.
2023
After 3 and half happy years together, Kailey proposed to Taci at their favorite music festival, surrounded by friends and family.
2025
Taci and Kailey will marry each other on October 18, 2025.
